I like to run errands on my way home from work. But this usually means I get home late and my arms are full when I get to the door.
Then I’m left without a free hand, struggling to find my keys in the dark. After getting caught in the rain multiple times, I decided to look at some EverBrite lighting reviews to see if motion sensor lighting could help with this problem.

What to Consider when Buying Motion Sensor Solar Lights
Solar powered outdoor lights can be useful for a lot more than finding your keys in the dark.
They can help improve security around your home by deterring thieves or vandals from accessing dimly lit areas. You can also use them to make your home safer for friends and family by lighting up paths and entryways. With a motion sensor feature, they can be a good solution to help keep pests out of the yard if you live in a rural area.
If you’d like to add exterior lighting to your home but don’t want to increase your electricity bills, solar powered outdoor lights might be a good option.
I like that they’re environmentally friendly and easy to use.
Although they don’t work indoors and require direct sunlight, so they probably aren’t the best choice if you want to install the light in a covered area.
You want to make sure you get enough sun to fully power the lights before selecting a solar powered option. You should have a south facing mounting location that receives at least 8-9 hours of sun daily.
Otherwise, a battery-powered or hardwired option might work better for your needs.
EverBrite Solar Motion Sensor Lights
EverBrite Solar Motion Sensor Lights are similar to the popular Baxia motion sensor lights and seem to be very easy to use.
The light requires a full day of sunlight to charge, and then stays dimly lit throughout the night. When the motion sensor is triggered, the light turns on to full power, illuminating the area until motion stops.
A construction-grade adhesive is included for mounting.
Since it is solar-powered, no wiring or batteries are required. If you are looking for exterior lighting that’s easy to mount and doesn’t require wiring, Ever BriteSolar Motion Sensor Lights could be the answer. But if you’re interested in indoor lighting these lights won’t be very helpful.
They require sunlight to charge so you must have a bright outdoor location to mount them.

Features and Benefits of Ever Brite Lights
Easy To Use
EverBrite Solar Motion Sensor Lights seem to be the easiest of the outdoor motion sensor lights to install.
The construction grade adhesive included for mounting claims to stick to almost any surface. This would be convenient at my house since my walls are stucco and my husband doesn’t want to put holes in them.
The video review below cautions that the adhesive is so strong that it could damage the surface if you try to remove the lights.
Depending on your mounting location, you may want to use the enclosed mounting screw instead. Since there is no wiring required for the Luposwiten lights, you can mount them virtually anywhere in just a few seconds.
After installing the light, just flip the switch and it’s ready to use. Easy installation is an important feature if you’re not a handyman.
Environmentally Friendly
One of my favorite features is the solar panel.
I try to be environmentally conscious and knowing that I can have 12 hours of lighting without using any electricity is important to me. The LED bulbs also help make this light an environmentally friendly choice.
According to the US Energy Department LED bulbs use much less energy than incandescent lighting and can last up to 25 times longer.
Added Security
Because Ever Brite lights don’t require any outside power source, your home can remain lit up even during a power failure. Intense storms are making extended power outages more and more common.
If you are concerned about being left in the dark, solar powered outdoor lights are worth looking into.
I like the idea that these lights can help prevent people from tripping over fallen debris in the dark. And the motion sensor feature can also help deter vandals or thieves who might take advantage of a widespread blackout.
Affordable
Luposwiten built-in solar panels use the power of the sun to recharge the unit over the course of the day.
Solar power means no additional electricity charges.
With continuously rising utility prices, I’m always on the lookout for ways to reduce my costs. The LED bulbs are long-lasting and should provide a long life to the illumination. This means you should not have to replace the lights because of burnt bulbs.
The quick and easy installation method not only saves you time but ensures you won’t have the added expense of having to hire a professional to install the lights.
Motion Sensor
The motion sensor feature makes these lights very convenient.
The constant low-level light provides minimal illumination, but activating the motion sensor doubles the brightness. As I mentioned, I love this feature when I get home late and have a lot of bags to carry into the house.
My husband likes that the light returns to its dim setting after the motion has passed, so we won’t bother our neighbors with bright lights all night. The Luposwiten motion sensor claims to have a range of 10-15 feet.
User testing in the video review below indicates that it will work from as little as 5 feet to as much as 20 feet away.
Durable
EverBrite lights are made with a durable plastic casing which allows them to be used in a range of weather conditions. The adhesive is both water and snow-resistant so you can still use the quick peel and stick mounting option in adverse climates.
Compact
The lights are compact, making them easy to mount in a variety of locations. They measure 4.5″ high x 3.25″ wide x 1.75″ deep. I like that they fit easily over our entryway door. And because they’re small, they won’t stand out when mounted on the front of the house.

Also, EverBrite solar lights are available on Amazon Canada only. While you definitely can order from the Canadian Amazon, it is sometimes more convenient to order from the US. So, the lights below are available for the US.
